Liquid and solid cleansers

The easy option to clean your blender is the bathroom sink with a liquid or solid cleanser. It’s simple.

  1. Wet your blender in warm water and squeeze excess water.
  2. Place a small dollop of solution onto the stained areas.
  3. Massage the soap into your blender well. Concentrate on any stained areas with your fingertips.
  4. Run under warm water and begin rinsing by squeezing the sponge rapidly to remove any stains.
  5. If the soapy solution is still discolored with foundation. Repeat the process.
  6. Rinse again and squeeze the sponge until all the suds are gone and the water runs clear.

When is it time to replace your makeup blender?

Makeup blenders are reusable, but when to renew depends on how you care for it. In an ideal world it should be replaced every 3 months. Another sign it’s time to part with your old blender and buy a new one if you break out for no reason. A buildup of bacteria can happen if your blender was not cleaned regularly or stored wet in a non-ventilated case.
